Consultation preparation:

What to bring?

Please bring all relevant GP or specialist referrals, x-rays and scans to your initial consultation.

If you do not have the reports of your scans or x-rays, please ask you GP, specialist or radiology centre to fax or email them to our reception desk prior to your appointment. This will help us avoid taking up your consultation time chasing up reports.

A drink bottle is also recommended if you are participating in exercise in the Gym or Pilates area.

Other…

Items that you can bring to help us with your consultation include:

  • Prescribed aids or braces

  • Current or previous exercise or gym programs

What to wear?

Please dress appropriately for your consultation. Wearing or bringing with you shorts or a singlet can help us better examine your issue, particularly if it is hip, knee or shoulder related.

If you are completing exercises in the gym or Pilates area, please wear clothing that is comfortable to move in and that will make it easier for our practitioners to see your posture and form during exercise.

For safety reasons, grip socks are required if you’re participating in our Clinical Reformer Exercise (Pilates) and Clinical Matwork Exercise (Pilates) classes. We currently have a selection of MoveActive grip socks at our reception area in all sizes and a range of colours and patterns ($20 per pair). If you have your own grip socks, please feel free to bring those with you.
